The Sailing Adventures of Leap of Faith

Our Boat

Our Beautiful New Home!

Leap of Faith

Oue beautiful new home is a custom built PDQ44i cataraman, built in Whitby, Ontario (just east of Toronto, Canada).

She's 44' in length, with a draft of 4' which allows us to get into some very shallow areas and take advantage of the best anchorages. She features two beautiful private staterooms, a wonderfully large and well appointed galley, state-of-the art navigation system, real-time weather via satellite, water-maker, fabulous sound system for listening to Jimmy Buffet while cruisin' and of course a washer & dryer!

She took a year to manufacture from the date we decided to "take the leap" to the day we received her in Norfolk, Va on Nov. 18th, 2006.

We spent the next 3 weeks making our way down the East coast from Norfolk to Ft. Lauderdale, FL with our good friends, and highly valued crew members, Jerry & Daris Judd.

Please visit our photo gallery pages for a more detailed account of our adventures.

Also, look for a copy of the July issue of Cruising World, where Lynne's article of our November passage down the coast will be published!

Thanks for visiting our site. We'll keep the photo pages updated as we travel, so please keep checking back!
